National Consultant assessing potential impacts of Workers Representative Organizations (WROs) in the context of revising Vietnam's Labor Code – New Industrial Relations Framework (NIRF) Programme

 

In the framework of the New Industrial Relations Framework (NIRF) Program and in collaboration with the Legal Department of Ministry of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs (MOLISA), ILO will provide technical expertise to support MOLISA revising Labor Code that is appropriate to the conditions in Vietnam, drafted with clarity and in line the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (FPRW). ILO now seeks a national consultant to prepare additional inputs into impact assessment report on potential impacts of WROs. The outputs of contract will inform MOLISA's justification for the regulation of WROs that will be submitted to the National Assembly for discussion. In addition, the consultant will provide MOILSA with high-quality analytical paper for their reference when preparing and justifying proposals for Labor Code revisions.

The objective of this assignment is to build the knowledge, understanding and skills of the Procuracy on child-friendly and gender-sensitive prosecutorial responses to child victims of abuse and to women survivors of GBV, with the overarching purpose to strengthen access to justice and protection of children in contact with the law and survivors of gender-based violence.
