Online Volunteer

Online Volunteering is an additional way for people from all over the world to connect with one another and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The modality has been created and promoted by UNV among not only development agencies but also the global society at large.

Volunteering online is simply to contribute one’s efforts and skills to other organizations over the Internet. This does not limit one from their regular job, geographical location, or status. This allows for the participation of people who find on-site volunteering difficult or impossible because of a disability, home obligation, or work schedule. Online volunteers learn about other countries, and learn about issues faced by the developing world.

Online Volunteers can exercise skills they are learning in school or for the work place. Online volunteering allows them to take on roles and responsibilities their professional work may not provide. It may allow an expatriate to reconnect with and provide help to his or her homeland.

You can either volunteer with UNV Viet Nam by contacting us directly, or explore UNV´s Online Volunteering Website for a vast pool of opportunities.

The Online Volunteering service connects development organizations and volunteers over the Internet and supports their effective online collaboration. It is a free service for development organizations and individuals worldwide. All online volunteering assignments facilitated through the Online Volunteering service contribute to sustainable human development and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
