Corporate/Private Sector Volunteer

Under the UNV-managed Corporate/Private Sector programme (CPS), senior business leaders and retired executives provide managerial and technical advice to companies and industries in developing countries and emerging economies. They make a real impact in private sector development in a short period of time.
UN Volunteers serving on CPS missions are highly qualified in their field of expertise with solid professional experience. They are motivated by a desire to support developing countries.

They bring a wide range of business and management skills in the areas of strategic planning, engineering, industrial design, product development, manufacturing, marketing, quality control and financial management as well as technical expertise for a variety of industries.

Conditions of Service:

Corporate/Private Sector Volunteers provide their services free of charge. They receive airfares and a daily living allowance. They are insured against accident, illness, or death from the departure date until the end of contract. Contracts vary from 1 week to 3 months.
