University volunteers from Spain: Call for ToRs for 2009 recruitment

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting ToRs for the recruitment of Spanish University Volunteers to be fielded in October 2009.

The Universidad Autonóma de Madrid (UAM) is a solid partner of the UNV programme and acts as the coordinating university of the Spanish University Volunteer Network. To date, 155 volunteer assignments around the world have been carried out through this partnership.

The University Volunteers from Spain are generally final-year students in BA or MA study programmes (sometimes even PhD students).

They are to support host institutions such as UN agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, local associations, and academic institutions supporting MDG programmes including those related to UNV’s MDG Facility with the aim to support capacity building.
