The proposal to establish a Green One UN House in Viet Nam has two key purposes – to help the UN in Viet Nam ‘Deliver as One’ and ‘Deliver Green’. Currently, staff from the sixteen UN organizations in Viet Nam are housed in ten different locations in Ha Noi. Co-location into a Green One UN House is considered a prerequisite to the full implementation of the One UN Initiative and will help overcome the ‘silo mentality’ that comes with physical separation of staff.
